Connect Telegram
Link the Really Focus bot in under a minute. Forward messages, log time, and get nudges on your phone.
Why Telegram
Telegram is the assistant's mobile body. Once linked, you can forward emails, send voice notes, log time, and ask questions from your phone — and the assistant pushes briefings and nudges back to you the same way.
No native app to install, no separate account to manage. If you already use Telegram, this takes about 60 seconds.
Link the bot
-
In the Really Focus app, open Integrations from the side navigation.
-
Find the Telegram card and click Link Telegram. The app generates a secure, single-use link unique to your account.
-
Telegram opens (in the app or in your browser) on the Really Focus bot. Hit Start.
-
The bot validates your token and replies "Your account is now linked! You can now interact with your assistant here." That's it — you're connected.
What you can do once linked
Forward emails and screenshots
Forward an email or share a screenshot to the bot. The assistant ingests the content, classifies it against the right client, and extracts any commitments. Useful for the times you read something on the bus and want it captured before you forget.
Send voice notes
Hold the mic button, talk. Voice notes are auto-transcribed and treated like any other message — perfect for capturing a quick "remember to invoice Acme for the workshop" between meetings.
Log time on the go
Just say so: "Log 90 minutes against Acme for the strategy call." The assistant matches the account and creates the time entry. If you prefer keystrokes, the slash form /time 1.5h Strategy call with Acme does the same thing.
Ask the assistant anything
"What's my biggest open commitment?", "What did I promise Sarah last month?", "Have I billed Acme for July?", "Set up a Friday wrap-up at 4pm". Free-form requests work — the assistant has the same context as your daily briefing and can take action on most things you'd ask a real EA.
Slash commands (optional)
Every one of these is also doable in plain English. Use them if you like, ignore them if you don't.
/time 2h Description— log a time entry./new— start a fresh conversation thread./schedule— manage your recurring briefings and triggers./verbose on//verbose off— show or hide the assistant's tool-use trace (handy for debugging)./help— the full, current list of commands.
Troubleshooting
The bot doesn't reply after I hit Start
Tokens expire after a short window. Go back to the Integrations page, click Link Telegram again to generate a fresh one, and reopen the link.
I want to link a second device
You don't need to. Telegram syncs across all your devices — once your account is linked, the bot works everywhere you're signed in to Telegram.
I want to disconnect
On the Integrations page, click Unlink Telegram. The bot will stop responding and stop pushing nudges. Re-linking later is the same one-click flow.
What's next
