How Really Focus uses
your Google data.
Really Focus connects to Google through your explicit consent. Below is exactly what we ask for, why, and what we never do with it. Full details live in our Privacy Policy.
Scope: Sign in with Google
Basic profile & email
Used only to create your Really Focus account and identify you on subsequent logins. We do not contact anyone in your Google contacts.
Scope: Google Calendar

Read your events to build briefings and meeting prep, and write events on your behalf (focus blocks, follow-up meetings, invites) only when you explicitly trigger the action in Really Focus or pre-approve a recurring behaviour in Settings.
Scope: Google Analytics (read-only)

List the GA4 properties you can access and run aggregated reports (sessions, users, top pages) only when you or your assistant request them. We never modify Analytics configuration, accounts, properties, or users.
We do
Store calendar events and Analytics report data in your private workspace so the assistant can answer questions like "what did I commit to last week?" or "how did the marketing site perform?".
We never
Modify your calendar, send invites, or change Analytics settings without an explicit user-triggered action or a behaviour you've pre-approved in Settings. We never read your Gmail or access Drive.
We never
Use your Google data to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine-learning model, and we never sell or transfer it to data brokers or for advertising.
Security & control
- · All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are encrypted with a per-application key.
- · You can disconnect Google at any time from Really Focus settings, or revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- · Deleting your account removes all stored Google data within 30 days. Request immediate deletion at privacy@reallyfocus.com.
- · Really Focus's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
